Superman (MoS) vs. John McClane

This is Superman that has waning powers (because he has been under Red Sun Energy for about 5 minutes). He's still superhuman by far, but he is only a small fraction of his full power self. Let's go with 1/20th of his power (speed, strength, etc.)

Versus

John McClane who has just drunk a full bottle of Felix Felicis potion.

Superman is in his street clothes: no Kryptonian armor or suit.

McClane has his Beretta, 5 full magazines, and 1 RPG.

This fight takes place in the abandoned military town where Ang Lee's Hulk was born (before they destroyed it with the tactical Nuke).

The fight starts with Superman in the middle of the town and McClane hiding in one of the buildings.

Things to keep in mind:

Felix Felicis does not have "infinite" luck. There is a limit. It just makes a person really really damn lucky.

Superman will still be quite durable. For the purposes of this thread, superman can be harmed by the bullets, they just will not penetrate his skin anymore than half an inch (McClane will have to shoot in the same spot, several times, to kill Superman, for instance).

If the Felix Felicis is too much, we can remove that.

Who wins?

By "waning" do you mean his power will keep decreasing?

McClane find a genie's lamp and uses one of the wishes to make himself as powerful as comic Silver Surfer.

Why the SS, he's McClane's favorite character, because they are both bald🙂

Mcclande has balls though.

Mcclane > Surfer

Felix Felicis potion means McClane shoots Clark in the eyes. Without the Felix Felicis, Clark eventually pummels McClane into submission with a couple dozen bullets embedded in his skin.

That's only if McClane is smart enough to discern that in less than the 2-3 seconds he has to start shooting up Superman. Once shot to his chest or head should let him know something is up...but it may take a second shot to cement this. Then, with the potion, he should be able to go for the eye shot.

Bringing Superman down to 1/20th his power is essentially making him McClane, just without the decades of experience, on-the-fly resourcefulness or beautiful bald head.

...or the vulnerability to Kryptonite...

Indeed. McClane has seemingly no known weakness.

Even though McClane has the incredible ability to find imaginary corners that allow him to constantly dodge bullets, i have to give superman the edge here. Superman throws broken glass on the ground and wins.
