Paxton has no range. He can't talk like a normal human being. I've known since "Twister" [the first movie I saw with him in it] that the guy was not good news for the acting world. It probably has to do with the scene when they're trapped under the bridge while the tornado is all around them and he's shouting at Helen Hunt's character - HOLD ON! or whatever and it's just that same monotone, just louder.

...this isn't gonna turn into another zombie movie, is it?? Oh shit, it did. It's The Road meets 30 Days of Night. Maybe a hint of The Thing in there, too.
The familiar faces of Laurence Fishburne and Bill Paxton give it some credibility that it otherwise probably wouldn't have. Some nice imagery, too. I think Paxton is trying to change his image set forth by Aliens. lol. But otherwise this is pretty forgettable.. pretty mediocre story and a bit silly. I found it amusingly entertaining, though.
