Shooters/Mercs/Soldiers vs Potter Wizards

Team one: Every wizard from the Potter movies. Every creature from the Potter movies. they can use any spells/potions from their movie. Felix Felicis is not uber pwnage here, it has limits.

Team two: Dutch and his crew from Predator. LT and his crew from Tears of the sun. Royce and his crew from Predators. John Preston and the police force/Clerics from Equilibrium. John Rambo. John McClane. Bob Swagger. Smith from Shoot em up. Maverick, Iceman, Hollywood and Cougar from Top Gun. Doug and Chappy from Iron Eagle. Dude from Blue thunder, piloting the choppah from said movie.

Team 2 can see Hogwarts. There is a shield protecting it, for the wizards know the shooters are coming. The soldiers must bring down the shield, enter hogwarts and kill everyone inside. Team 2 has access to ALL of their weaponry/equipment they had in their respective movies. Infinite ammo/fuel too. They are fully aware of the wizards spells and have detailed maps of the castle and the surrounding area.

Anything goes here. Battle begins at 5 pm on a clear day and will go on as long as needed. Who wins?

Not familiar with the Harry Potter lore's magic limits, but couldn't they just point their wands at team 2 and turn the guns into snakes or something? But if that isn't possible then Team 2 razes hogwarts.

How are they going to get past the shield?

By using their unlimited missiles.

Why would the missiles and bullets have any effect on a shield of magic?

Because Rowling said any schmuck with a 12 gauge can f up a wizards day. She clearly thought human weaponry was bad for wizards. Missiles would be insanely powerful.

We have seen HP shields get taken down and the spells involved have zero feats to place them on a level with missiles.

Yeah... we've seen them get taken down with magic. We've never seen how it withstands kinetic and thermal energy. It may very well have the endurance capable of withstanding a supernova for all we know. There's no limit ever shown, so no limit can be ascribed. Which is f*cking useless in a versus match. Especially in a versus match against exo-universe enemies and their improbably infinite ammo.

Take away that shield and we can go a bit further. But so long as it's there we're roadblocked. It can either last forever against anything non-magic, or it can't--but how exactly and when is completely unknown and subject to arbitrary desires. Take that shit away.

Except we saw the shield get taken down, so we know it has limits. we also saw the same spells that took down the shield do less damage to other objects than a missile would, let alone what a few dozen/hundred/thousand missiles would do.

So equating a mysterious magical force of Dark Power with a barrage of missiles doesn't make any sense. We don't know the nature of the spell. We don't how much explosive damage it can take. Or how many bullets it can absorb. We don't even know if it can absorb a single bullet or missile. Hell, maybe even a rock can knock that f*cker out.

Srsly, get the OP on the phone and ask him to remove the shield. It's (very appropriately) in the way.

Nowhere in the HP series does it say that shields can only be damaged by magic.

The shields didn't buckle until they were overwhelmed. It took all the dark wizards spamming it over and over again to bring it down. We can see spells having blasting effects in all the movies. Obviously the force of all the spells at once was too much.

I see that the shield was taken down by spells that caused physical damage, so there is zero reason to assume that sed shields would be immune to missiles.
