yes he did, and he even threatened the whole universe, some people here tried to actually argue that he only destroyed the core, to clarify on this instance:

easy win for the team.
Odin, Thor and Loki fought Surtur with Twilight to a standstill so he's "only" high skyfather, whereas the celestials are way above skyfathers. Celestials have also been shown to disperse the Uni-Mind at will, which is no surprise since the Eternal race is a product of celestial experiments. The Destroyer is the strongest player the team has, but not enough to take down ToAA.
The One Above All wins.

Good thing, then, that none of the combatants here has access to that particular plot device.
you're right, i was just clarifying on this particular instance.
btw, recently surtur was able to release all the fires of creation when he was killed:

and along with twilight sword which can reshape and destroy reality...........plus the destroyer fighting beside him, id really like you to explain how exactly is this a win for the celestial.

I already explained my reasons in my first post. With the exception of a single plot device (which the team does not have access to), Celestials have always been portrayed as way more powerful than skyfathers. The elemental lords of the nine realms -- Surtur, Ymir, etc. -- only rank as (high) skyfathers. And the Destroyer was never a threat to Celestials, they simply examined it for a while when they fought, then destroyed it without much effort.

the destroyer did give the celestials a fight:

i could also see odin putting the enchantment on the odinsword and then it's over, surtur isn't even needed in this case.
i think i already proved that surtur is universal so ranking him as a high skyfather is irrelevant.
