Lucario (Pokemon) vs Renamon (Digimon)

The name says it all. Make your case!

Can Renamon digivolve or stuck as Renamon?

Does she have her power ring?

Admittedly, I have little information on Digimon. Consider all canonical factors. Anything they've been known to do they should be able to do here. Also, We'll be examining THE Lucario (should there actually be one) and THE Renamon. Excuses the vagueness of the thread. It's been a while since I've caught up with either of them.

Renamon is just her base form, so she loses in that, but her best forms like Sakuyamon are very powerful. Also, Lucario is weak to fire and fighting, and a lot of Renamon's attacks fall into one of the two.

So, if evolved forms are allowed, Renamon.

Which Lucario? If we're talking anime there have been several. If we're talking about the game then all we'd have is Pokedex entries for feats. That and HM's I guess.

There's multiple major Lucarios in Pokemon, and one major Renamon.

Most of the major Lucario are pretty strong, but none really stands out as head and shoulders above the others IMO.

Lucario in the game loses.

The anime...well the one off the top of my head is Cameron's and he beat Pikachu, who has better feats than Renamon off the top of my head.

Renamon's base form, yes. However her Ultimate and Mega forms (Taomon and Sakuramon respectively) are another story. Ultimate and Mega digimon are often huge and physically powerful, and those that aren't big are every bit as powerful.

12:40 into this has an Ultimate take a big rocket barrage from the military to no effect. That one is moderately stronger than Taomon, but well below Sakuramon's power.

Renamon is weaker but faster iirc.

I doubt we would be working with Pokémon logic seeing as this is not a pokemon battle. If a similar logic applies to Digimon, reasonably, we would have to opt it out as well.

Trainers and partners imply outside influence. This is not THEIR fight, so I don't think the call can be made for them.

About the feats, would you care to provide? I'm interested to know.

After de-digivolving from Megidramon, Guilmon used a spectral tail from it to smack away Beelzemon's bullets. Ranamon's faster than him /shrugs

I'm not even sure she can digivolve to champion without a card swipe.
