Caught this recently. Great movie. The slo-mo got on my nerves at times, but overall it's a definite thumbs up from me.

So yeah want that sequel. But we obviously won't get one.

^ The slow-mo was for the 3D, but yeah.

SEQUEL NEWS:Karl Urban came on last and one of the first questions asked was if there is any chance of a Dredd sequel. In what should be music to fans ears, he said "conversations’’ are taking place between the studio, the director and writer Alex Garland. He commented that the cinema release of Dredd was badly handled but the film had found its audience on DVD and it has been noticed by the studio.

Never bought the dvd though.

I wonder if they track how many people watch it on netflix.

The article is about how Karl Urban is trying hard to get support for a sequel and mentions that the DVD sales have been noticed and that there are actually some "conversations" happening... far from a greenlight, but still encouraging.

Maybe if the Raid 2 does good maybe it will help them to make a Dredd sequel.
