I think it might be in the the annual where he decides to put on " The shirt of the bear" AKA warrior madness and he hits Hulk.

Well, there was the time Thor hit Superman so hard that he(Supes) was sent flying into a building and wasn't able to rejoin the fight until the next issue.

Which was a moment later and it was a mjolnir strike.

Cheapshot? Thor was standing in full view and gave a speech before attacking. the only way for that to be a cheapshot is if Superman was blind and deaf.

It was after Superman and the JLA demanded the Avengers surrender/compliance, too, iirc.

That scan is from a different fight, I'm talking about their first encounter, where Thor was in full view and gave a speech before attacking.

Guys, please leave JLA/Avengers out of debate threads.
