more likely that no one is up on the Vietch upgrade to Vic ( question) and what an amalgamation of that with newuniversal upgrade to Justice can bring on.
combining aspects of that upgrade to justice with Shield's body will also make for one hell of an interesting combo. when I said earlier that my amalgam isn't over high meta I was seriously wrong.
I've even deliberately left an opening in my write up for psycho to at least have a come back before I completely close the gate. I think I like this amalgam better than the one I used with Capt marvel, Wonder Woman, and Phoenix in another site.

It won't be an easy counter, no doubt. But it is sort of an all or nothing strategy. One effective counter could end his tournament, and I know at least a few of us are at least vaguely aware of what he'll be doing and how we might counter it. That doesn't mean we're right, but it also means he's not just going to roll through unchallenged.Like I said earlier, he may have the most potential in this tourney. But even that doesn't count for everything.
Patience is key. These things take place over the span of weeks. Still, I'm excited as well for my opening match next week.

I actually just finished organizing my scans. My collection is somewhat scattered. Finding everything can be tricky, especially with someone semi-obscure like Dark Angel where there isn't always a downloadable source I can use to supplement what I already have.
But yeah, I have a rough outline of my writeup already. It's never too early to start piecing these things together.
Odds:
Everyone's picking favorites, but odds are about bang for your buck. So, with that in mind...
Methodology: I'm basing it roughly on responses in this thread. This isn't my personal opinion, but an aggregate of others' opinions.
tijay - 50/1
Sin, Abhi, Chipguy, beatboks - 15/1
CDB, Digi - 8/1
PG - 6/1
Id - 5/1
leo - 4/1
No offense to tijay, but the guy flat-out admitted he was outmatched. Nobody's identified him as spoiler material.
Obviously I'd have myself higher, but among the opinions expressed I have yet to be identified as the outright favorite, just among the favorites.
If I were placing bets at these odds, and excluded betting on myself, I'd probably take abhilegend. He gets pigeonholed as a Superman fanboy, but has some legit debating chops. He'd be the best bargain imo at these odds.
That said, he'd also be an underdog in his match with me. Again, odds are about value and ROI, not favorites alone.
Also, I'd personally bump a couple, like myself and the whole group at 15/1. But I tried to be objective in the odds there based on crowd reaction, rather than letting my personal opinions affect the odds.
But I think a favorite is impossible to determine until we are at least a match in for everyone.
I've come a long way from bieng a favorite in these shindings.
If I was to divide our participants in two classes. Old School - New School. I give Chip the best odds out of the new school. I didnt think anyone would gun for Qubit. Much less look through his obvious ability and point out my true motive. His ability to capture, and overtake foriegn personas.
Add that he has good knowladge of DC/Marvel, and I did not realize untill recently that his strategy mirrors my own makes him a threat.
At first I was going to test my character. Play with her a bit. I guess not.
And I really hope to see leo vs PG. Thats #1 match I hope gets to be done. Simply because match up really well.
