Hulk and probably Thor will be able to break him into components, but he'll just reform.

Funny...I was thinking of Iron Giant vs Kaiju and IG vs Jaeger threads but realized IG wouldn't win against either. Too small, too slow.

He loses against the Avengers.

He one-shots the Avengers with a single attack.

Don't know if IG can put down the Avengers. But the Avengers won't be able to keep the IG down.

He has more firepower than an atomic bomb, of course he can put them down.

Iron Giant has the firepower with his big chest gun, but that required build-up (ie, it telegraphs a launch). Even if Hulk and Thor don't connect the dots, I would think Cap or Iron Man would. Certainly Cap would say, hey guys, let's not huddle.

Then again, if the Iron Giant repeats his last movie word, that alone will put fear in the Avengers' hearts. 😉

Even if they tear him apart, he'll just come back later. Again and again and again and again.
