Link Runs A Gauntlet of Super Saiyan Adaptations From the Nintendoverse

I didn't know if this would turn out interesting or not, so I'm keeping it short and simple.

Link and other Heroes of the Nintendo Universe have unlocked ki power. Link is now tasked with testing himself against these heroes to prove his newfound strength.

He will compete in four stages. Each stage will ascend in Super Saiyan level.

Stage 1: SS1 Mario (starts at base)
Stage 2: SS2 Ike (starts at SS1)
Stage 3: SS3 Fox (starts at SS2)
Stage 4: SS4 C. Falcon (starts at SS3)

As Link progresses, should he do so, he will be able to reach a new max according to the designated max of his opponent. However, he will start each round at base level, but will fully recover before the start of each round. He will not be able to achieve maximum level until 15 minutes into each battle. His opponents will reach their max within seven minutes. Characters are not limited to how they can apply their ki power. All fights will take place on Namek.

How far will Link go?

Imma go out on a limb and say SSJ4 Falcon punch implodes the multiverse

A. Link is hylian, so any super saiyan powers won't apply. Also saiyan transformations just multiply the base power level, so unless he trained specifically for ki attacks, his power level would be weak.
B. With the exception of mario, none of these fighters know how to use rising power levels and won't be able to utilize ki attacks.
C. Link specialty is his arsenal and adaptability. Giving him lasers isn't really his style.
D. Mario has more expierence in energy projectiles and rising powers, so he knocks link out pretty quick.

Are you implying that he makes it this far? If so, I'd like to know why. Even if you are just speculating.

A. That's the point of the thread. I just wanted to have fun with the concept, so in this case, the training and transformations apply to all combatants.
B. The scenario implies that they've accustomed themselves to this.
C. Canonically, he's capable of the Skyward Strike, so that's a start. If he wishes, he could also, theoretically (in this scenario), channel his power through his equipment. Namely, the Master Sword. This is how I saw it anyways.
D. This I can understand, but again, the implication is that they've gotten used to their power even to the point of being able to adapt it to ways familiar to them.

A. The saiyan transformations don't give you more power though, they just multiply what you got. So we would have to find their base power levels and then see how much ki training they went with.
B.If we equalize their stats, then link is gonna loose all of them if he can't max out as soon as the fight starts.
C. The master sword and mirror shield are the only weapons besides spells that can store power, anf they mostly just repel it. If he has a limited inventory then his fighting style takes a pretty big hit.
D. Mario has a greater starting power and experience in this fighting style while link is handicaped. Hows he gonna win?

Before and after both attain max, its the same as their normal incantations going at it. Its the 8 mins when the opponents will have a higher level.
Mario's multiplier will be 50x what Link has. Ike 2x, Fox 4x, and a random increase for Falcon.

By that all characters have the ki advantage. As Nate said, this advantage greatly depends on what ki they already had. If Link's is already triple Ike's, nothing will change. And on that ki multipliers don't have a 100% correlation to the persons speed and strength, so if Link has better stats something like a 2x ki increase won't close that gap.

Basically their ki gets a large boost, which increases ki attack and all stats by a non linear amount (2x ki doesn't make you twice as strong and fast). Main issue is how high their ki would be.. if they had any.

If Link's stats are greatly above, which most are, and his ki is even greater, he'd face a good chance at passing.

..Did I say basically?

If we assume ki is the same as link's magic, we could just scale up his spin attack and fire arrowd to get a basic idea.

BloodRain basically gets it. The main thing I believe would have to be taken into account is their character. How would they work with this power, and what steps would they take to better themselves with it. Stats are not equalized, and each character has to shape themselves to accommodate their power. In other words, some of them will do it better than others. BTW, BloodRain, SSJ4 multiplier is actually x10. Depending on the difference in their power following their training, that gap will continue to increase by rather great sums with each multiplier as both Link's opponent and Link achieve that transformation. I actually did some experimental math on this to determine that. Try it and you'll see what I'm talking about.
