I'm sure keeping the Batman franchise right is more important than WB keeping Affleck around.
But it is disappointing that Noaln is completely out of the picture now. Because Goyer isn't doing the best job with the dialogue. So really I feel like they needed to increase Nolan's involvement in the script.

Nolan didn't even help with the dialogue in the first place. And Nolan is still attached, until it's confirmed by him.
Like I said before, Affleck is going to have a hand in the script/story and I prefer him over Nolan, anyway. At least he GETS super heroes.

I've actually been trying to find what he's talking about. Putting in different phrases and whatnot about Eastwood, Nolan, and Affleck, but nothing comes up. I'm asking a good internet buddy of mine on another site that works close to hollywood and he heard the same thing, but it looks like those are just rumors.

Nolan isn't necessarily done helping out although some folks will say otherwise.. he did help with Man of Steel and he help with Batman beating up err v. Superman but his involvement with that starts after he is done with Interstellar

And that was a bad thing. The dialogue needed some work in that movie. I'm not comfortable with just Goyer and Synder working on the story and script.

Affleck being involved in the movie in any way outside playing Batman is what needs confirming.

I checked and couldn't find the exact article but did find articles why WB wants Affleck so badly. Circumstantial, but supporting evidence. And without divulging Bruce's personal info, he has first hand knowledge of what happens in Hollywood.
Other than Batman vs Superman WB will be announcing future movies from DC it seems. I just hope there not animated films.

I feel a bit better after seeing that interview. At least Affleck has some time to get in "Batman" shape. But if he screws this up he'll be raptor fodder!
