I've already announced my displeasure for Jason Momoa allegedly being Aquaman. Now it's official and it's not a surprise. Ezra Miller just makes me shake my head even more. Does WB dislike casting people that resemble their main characters? You don't see this silliness going on at Disney/Marvel for their main characters.
I like that Wonder Woman will be releasing before Justice League. I dislike that I'll have to wait 6 years for a Green Lantern film.
The casting and ordering of these movies is really taking away all the excitement I had for a potential DC cinematic universe. I just hope it works.

Its possible. One thing that is awesome is Ayer for Suicide Squad. Dude is a really good director. Fury looks great. I hope it's not disappointing.

I THINK the movies are in order, although they are always subject to change, so WW should be coming out before JLA.

That's actually worrying. WB don't seem to learn. They vastly overspent on GL then when it couldn't make it's money back that stopped DC movies for the next few years.

That's true, but it's not his acting abilities people are complaining about. It's about fitting the role. Caville and Hemsworth fit their hero role. RDJ was ideal for his hero role. This just seems like a completely wrong fit.

Over marketing IS worrying. Look at Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, both Spider-Man and Green Lantern were bad movies, so that's why it under performed. The 2 Billion dollars will be spread out. Some more than others will have more money spent into it, obviously.
New Batman and Superman solo movies will be announced later.
In the official Warner Bros. press release sent after the investor meeting (where they also announced three LEGO movies and three Fantastic Beasts Harry Potter spinoffs) it was confirmed that “stand-alone Batman and Superman films” will also debut between 2016-2020. That’s in addition to The LEGO Batman movie they’re also developing.Yes, there will be two years where there are three DC Comics blockbusters. So, don’t worry Bat and Supes fans, your top DC heroes are getting their own additional stories in these years as well.
Any guesses on who the directors will be?
@WarnerBrosEnt plans to release at least 10 @DCComics -based films beginning in 2016, not counting stand-alone Batman and Superman films.

I dunno. Most people agreed Edge of Tomorrow was a great movie. But the marketing for it was just terrible.
Yes I agree over marketing can backfire, plus it means the Film is forced to make a lot more just so it makes it's money back.
TASM2 wasn't all bad, but the over marketing made us fed up of the movie before it was out. And then putting literally all of the action in the countless trailers left us only to be disappointed in the final product.
So yeah, that marketing budget is worrying. On the plus side they've committed to this film slate. So hopefully it's going to happen no matter the profit.

Well probably Affleck. Probably a big part of the reason they went for him as Batman in the first place.

Dunno. I don't want him to do everything though. He's already doing a Trilogy MOS/BvS/JL. I like him, but he's no Nolan who can consistently give us quality after quality. So I hope he moves to the background after JL personally.
