Doomsday is a meh villain to me, almost one-dimensional, so I'm fine with them using him for this film if they're going the throwaway path. Leave the better villains for later, like fleshing out Luthor more, using Braniac and bringing in Darkseid eventually.

Another fail on your part: I originally created the Ep7 thread when it was first announced that Disney purchased SW and that Ep7 was announced and I noted my gushing excitement, along with every other SW fan. It's in the SW section.

I think doomsday is far more exciting than his typical villain of the week who's been after him since the jump. You like the ordinary villains the run of the mill guys. Not me I like the special guys.

I'd go with CGI, considering Darkseid's generally depicted as having a rather large stature.

They already have the perfect voice-actor to do the role; it would really be a shame if they didn't go with Michael Ironside.

I think his historical signifcance in kandmark stories make him iconic and it's a bonus he kicked Darkseid's ass in one of those stories. He isn't Thanos and Darkseid can't handle himself in some of these fisticuffs type brawls.

I read the story and wiki is the only way you debate so that's very ironic. Doomsday is a big bad villain who Superman had actual nightmares about in the Hunter and Prey storyline. This is the guy who broke Darkseid on apokolips.
