I actually enjoyed Lex. He got a laugh from me. But, like others, I'll be very disappointed if that isn't just a public persona and we never see the true sociopath underneath it all.

I do. He's Superman's archnemesis and a superb villain when written/done well.

Agreed. DD is little more then a glorified punching bag who has been in one story of note (and it's not a particularly good one at that).

Lex looks ok, I'm guessing he would be overconfident before getting his sh_t throughly pushed by Kal for the first time.

Still, the rest of the film looks like sh_t, I'm never watching it 👆

I know the angle you're hinting at. But Bane is generally a better written villain than Croc and Croc is more akin to DD, Mouth.

So I give your post 6.5/10

Looks okay from the latest trailer....i'm not hyped up like other fanboys/girls.

So, Doomsday is not only tall and big as f### but also a legit energy projecting city buster, damn.......... DCU villains really make MCU bad guys look like weaks little turds...... two DCU movies and they have better villains already.

Also, Im glad the Supes vs Bats fight is pretty much decided, Superman would just trash Batman, prep time or not, the blue boy would just murk the vigilante.

We have Civil War for a high budget 2 hour power rangers episode with normal people on roids fighthing like childs.

We have Dawn of Justice for the proper SUPERhuman high powered slugfest.

Trailer looked all right. Still cautiously optimistic.

At least i go into these movies for other things, Besides just for the characters being how strong they are and their power levels etc

Sorry I dont watch freaking comic book movies (DC or MARVEL) for some Platon philosophical shit, I just want kickass action with some plot on it, and DCU is the only one giving me that so far.

Anyone watching these movies for some Malick esque soul searching is just dumb

I just think they chose to portray Lex at too young an age. He needs to shake off the rich spoilt brat/genius & mature a bit more.
He comes across more of a Riddler than anything else. Reminds me too much of Depp as Wonka too.

Yeah rumours have been around regarding Doomsday & the trailer finally proves it. Sadly it's got that "big battle against cgi creature" cliched ending feel & that's disappointing & over done to death.

How anyone can like this Lex from what we saw in the preview is beyond me.
