Sure, but I don't believe Eisenberg as Lex fits in to that category. Lex as a character has many different versions; his bald head is really the only defining characteristic about him physically, and even that was missing in the early 90s.
If Eisenberg just plays a douchey Eisenberg and calls that Lex, sure, that'll suck. But I really think the Lex character has enough room to work with that Eisenberg looking the way he does, REALLY doesn't matter.
It's Lex, not Superman.
