The only legit reason to hate him is that he's the most popular superhero. And with popularity usually comes some strong hate.

Well, sort of. I mean, if he wasn't so popular then people probably wouldn't hype it as something he isn't: and interesting character with depth. He has good things and bad things, but his overuse and plot armor certainly kill a chunk of what's enjoyable of the character.

Captain America has a huge plot armor and can be one-dimensional on occasion, but he comes up more enjoyable on average. Superman is entirely better than Bruce in every aspect of the character, unless people here believe playing an emo psycho can be considered better (and Bats is still ok-ish at it). Cheese Batman and Mystery Batman are both great, but that's not the Batman we get more often than not (I really don't enjoy the character as Non-Cheese Science god nor as invincible Ninja).

Also most Batman villains are bs.

So I'm also partially joking about Batman being hateable for the kicks, but I most definitively don't enjoy him more than his comicbook peers.
