Generally when a movie is an actual hit, the studios will release sequel news right away. Or they even do it before hand, such as Suicide Squad. That shows confidence. We haven't heard a peep about warcraft. Now I'm not saying there won't be a sequel, probably because they are heavily discussing how they are actually going to keep the budget down or working out contracts.

Well they're probably still deciding. That doesn't mean it's a flop. Just that it may only be making a small profit at the box office, so they'll wait to see home entertainment figures before investing another 150+million on a sequel.

IMO, Warcraft is like Pacific Rim,,, it made basically no money domestically while kicking ass overseas, in particular because the film made over $100 million in China alone.. now finally Pacific Rim 2 starring John Boyega is finally happening.. Now the studio clearly has to be happy the film is making money especially overseas in China and they will most likely greenlight a sequel, now it certainly might not be right away but a sequel will happen nonetheless..

Nah, it's widely known that PR flopped. I highly enjoyed the film, too, but the studio wanted it more. I guess it made 11 million dollars to get some profit, but I assume there were still losses.
