Astral Projection: Adam can project him astral form/consciousness to a location of his choosing, while his physical body remains in another location.

Atomic Pummel Strike: amps his physical strikes with cosmic power.

Cosmic Bullet Sweep: Adam launches dozens of blasts at an opponent simultaneously.

Cosmic Telepathy: A very loosely defined ability that allows Adam to commune with others across vast distances.

Uses his cosmic TP to scan the entire universe to find his sister:

Diamond Sun-Heart Area Shield: a protective shield that envelops him.

Foundation Disintegration Maneuver: twin eye beams that destroy the floor upon which the target stands.

Five Fingers of Fire: five striking rays that are emitted from his fingertips.

Gravity Smash Maneuver: dynamic object collision.

Heartbeat Sunburst Attack Pattern: a ricocheting energy attack that seems to cause a transformative effect on its target. Unknown if the chemical reaction was from the power or something to with the atomic make-up of the target.

Inversion Energy Assault/Collapsing Starburst Attack: Can turn an opponent’s energies inward on itself, and tremendously increase the mass of what it touches, until the opponent simply implodes.

Imaginautic Focus-Prism Spread: Allows Adam to control machines in his local vicinity.

Multiple Holographic Confusion Tactic: Adam creates many light-based constructs of himself(ie. duplicates/avatars).

Selective Photospheric Burst Attack: a cosmic blast that blankets a huge area, but only effects selective targets, passing harmlessly through unintended victims.

Self-Transformation: the ability to transform from his human form into his cosmic form, which gives him tremendous power and speed.

Awesome respect thread.

Is this series worth picking up? It looks interesting and we know nothing gets me wet quite like Gods.

Godland is a great series. It takes a few issues to warm-up to, but if you give it a chance, it's well worth it. Obviously the artwork is a blatant Kirby knockoff, which gives the series a very classic and nostalgic feel, but it fits the story perfectly. The series itself is very well-written and comedic at times(purposefully)-- it never takes itself too seriously, and allows for great character development.

...Oh and the last 2 issues of Godland(in particular) are easily the most abstract/metaphysical/metatextual works I've ever read-- WAY ahead of their time in that regard, imo.
