It's probably the most odd and ridiculous premise ever. Who would even think of that? 'the world is freezing and everyone is going to die and the only way to survive is...to build a big train that goes round and round the earth forever?' 6 inches of snow and the trains grind to a halt around here.
Strange. Very strange.
In a future where a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet, a class system evolves aboard the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine.
