I mentioned the Binary Rifle, and it might still be a valid tactic. Kratos is a lighting timer, but is he FTL? Not sure how much damage the rifle does in canon, though. mmm
And since Kratos tanked Ares death explosion which should be just as powerful logically and can hurt beings with similar durability to himself, well yeah
