Best onscreen kill ever

OK, let's mix it up a bit. All onscreen kills in history (one on one kills, not multiple kills) versus each other. What single kill scene is the greatest?

Are we talking about most gruesome kill? Most badass kill? Most noble death?

In any case, I'll have to rewatch episodes of Spartacus. They had some of the best and most inventive kill scenes I've seen in 1v1 fights.

Most awesome kill. Bloodiest, most gruesome, most inventive, that.

Using the press on the Terminator in the first movie was pretty inventive. Marv hacking up Kevin and then feeding him to the dog was pretty bloody

Some of Jigsaw's traps in the Saw series.

A few standouts.

The fire extinguisher beating in Irreversible..

The bottle to the face in Pan's Labyrinth

The guy in the gunk in Robocop who is melting and then gets hit by the car

Others that weren't really gory but were really impactful were the jewish guy getting slowly stabbed in Saving Private Ryan and Kevin Spacey in LA Confidential

Some of the deaths in Seven Psychopaths were hilarious as well.

And let's not forget the classic head explosion in Scanners.

My favorite death, based solely on how it traumatized me as kid, has got to be the dude that got bathed in toxic waste/acid. He is a complete dick through the entire movie and then gets soaked in acid. He roams around the factory a walking melting living corpse and then eventually gets put out of his misery by a speeding car. His remains splashing everywhere.

Disgusting as all ****.

I miss the 80s.
