What is Luffy's greatest speed feat? He might blitz Gaara if it is really high.

I think gaara would win because luffy moves about as fast as Rock Lee and Sasuka

For defense, he's got his main sand auto-defense, sand armor (with which even pre-timeskip took a heavy pounding from Lee without damage, so he's really not all that frail), replacement technique to leave a sand-clone in his place...

He's know for his defensive power.

But that doesn't matter when his weak body crumbles under Royal Haki.

Haki is defended against with will, more than body, and his body's superhuman.

And it is more of a feat than most of Hody's 50,000 mooks have to their name. It also shows he has a lot of willpower to continue protecting his village against unconsciousness. And since will power is what Royal Haki actually deals with that is really all that matters.

Actually Gaara might have the better sand controlling feats.

He is just too slow for Luffy and Madara proved it is possible just to force through the sand shield.
