We've booked a holiday!

Just to let you all know that Mrs.MM and I have booked to go away for the first two weeks in July, so I won't be here for my birthday.....but I'll open all my prezzies from you all as soon as I get back. 😉

We're going to Fuerteventura (don't know if thats spelled correctly because I've been calling it Ace Ventura ever since I saw the brochure).

Hope they've got internet at the hotel, so I can pop in to say hello.

It's one of the Canary Islands just off the coast of North Africa, owned by Spain though. It'll be nice and hot there in July Mech.

I'm preparing my book list as we speak (I read a lot on holiday), so far I've picked a Stephen King from my collection that I haven't read and I'm also hoping to get the book Tomacco suggested not long ago "Catcher in the Rye" or something like that.

I've got a couple of Dickens novels to read but I may get "House of the dead" by Dostoyevsky, after reading "Crime and Punishment" I've got a bit of a taste for his style.

I've been trying to plan the two weeks, I want to: -

1. Finish at least 3 books
2. Get drunk a minimum of 5 times (excluding all day sessions)
3. Have at least 3 all day sessions
4. Come back with some white bits

I'm easily pleased I think.

drink Heineken Mech and I envy you, the cannary Islands is a too long flight with a two year old. If I were to go to the south I prefere the Greek isles

I prefer Greece too, but the canaries are nice, a lot better than mainland Spain too.

Yeah, have a great time. It sounds like fun, apart from all the drinking, that's the bit I'm not fond of.
