Floating grinning face horror movie?

I saw a horror gif compilation v2 and its at 2:16.
It's a ball shaped face/ head with a big creepy grin that is slowing floating closer. Looks like a moon? No one seems to remember this flick but seems familiar.

What was this movie?!??!

I've only seen this as a gif and I just love it. Creepy.

Im not even sure thats from actual movie although it looks very familiar its might be a photoshop of different characters.
