Darth Plagueis Novel: Mystery at the END

At the end of the novel "Something was shading his sense of triumph: a vague awareness of a power greater than himself. Was it Plagueis reaching out from the far side of death to vex him? Or was the feeling a mere consequence of apotheosis?"

I feel that since Qui-gon died at the same time as Plagueis and Qui-gon achieved immortality and Plagueis seemingly did not.

Remember Yoda said the power to immortality is greater than any in ROTS novel. WAS SIDIOUS SENSING QUI-GON or PLAGUEIS??

I am sure it cannot be Darth Maul's death as Maul was not more powerful than Sidious. Its more likely to be Qui-gon. Wat do you think ???

Wrong forum buddy.

That's a very interesting theory...except that Plagueis feels the same when his master dies.

Never did understand that. A very good book, but Luceno was a little too vague at times.

It either the Will of the Force or the Chosen One. Probably the former.

um:

"Plagueis originally had the ability to see into the future but this ability was permanently crippled after his dead Master used transfer essence to enter his body and foresaw his death at the hands of his own apprentice."

From wookieepedia.

Not sure if it applies here.

Not sure what its relevance is for what is being discussed here...

But yes, that happens in Stover's short story.
