actually, the red text indicates my direct answer to the question you asked in the OP and title of this threadagain, sorry for the confusion, how could I have possibly thought that was the topic of the thread
Notice how I had no qualms with your initial post. It's only when you come to the "because I have an answer, your thread is pointless, trololol" that I begin to scratch my head at whoever you think you are.

I'm sorry you feel so victimized by the fact I could answer the question you asked

Given that it took you three tries to understand a point repeated to you repeatedly...
Yeah, I'm a joke. 🤣
What's even more ridiculous is that we actually hold the same position on the issue, but you felt the need to open up with a hostile tone towards a perfectly legitimate (and very important) topic, and then turn around and pretend that I started it. 🙄

From what I understand creationists do believe in evolution, but they don't believe that mankind evolved from primates. So vestigial organs may well fall under what creationists accept as evolution.
He probably means young earth creationists.
These Intelligent Design people (who do fall under the umbrella of creationism) can go so far as to believing everything's evolution except for the beginning of life, or even be deists...

They believe in devolution I believe, that mankind has degenerated and "lost genetic information" over time.

I'm suspecting that you're thinking of a case other than the blind animal with eyes. Care to elaborate?
I'm pretty sure that "evolutionists" do not believe that we inevitably lose genetic information as a result of taking on original sin during the Fall of Man. I admit that has a lot of suppositions in it but I think I can support them. In particular evolutionary biologists are quite opposed to the notion of directionality in evolution. We are not getting worse or degenerating or anything like that in evolutionary terms.

TBH, I'm not exactly concerned about changing society with this thread...That being said, one of the issues our side has is that we simply aren't as politically organized to stop the rhetoric-spewing opposition, and, to sound elitist, most people aren't properly educated about Evolutionary Theory, and often times believe in outright falsities ("evolution is just a theory!"😉.
That being said, we are winning, gradually, so I'm optimistic about the future.
Well, we're on a low-traffic discussion forum. Nothing's being changed here. My point was just that it seems like the more fruitful discussion to me, not poring over the nuances of creationist rhetoric.
I agree on the last point, to an extent. I think we're headed toward a greater homogenization of religions in the world, which will eliminate any one religion's grasp on politics or education. Whether or not a scientific worldview will ever be dominant is somewhat more dubious, but I agree that we're headed in the right direction.
