Yes, the best example is Old Thing and Old Torch telling their past selves that they become vastly more powerful as they age. With Ben stating that they will continue to grow in strength for the rest of their lives and easily manhandling current Thing.
And it's pretty evident that current Thing is stronger than Pineapple.
And Current Thing got tooled pretty badly by Colossalnaut on the moon. He actually took him out of the blue area where he could breathe so he would pass out, just so he wouldn't have to hurt him.
So it's pretty obvious Thing would lose this fight.

Wasn't Exo-Suit thing in Infinity Crusade. However, Mr. Fantastic stated about the exo-suit he built it to "restore most of the strength he used to possess" and "nearly as powerful as before" and Walter destroyed Thing in that fight. Even in the same event (Infinity Crusade), Walter one-shot She Hulk who at the time was equal to Thing. So no, Thing is definitely not WAY stronger then Sasquatch.

Don't want to get sidetracked, but Walter is stated to be baselevel Class 90 as per the handbooks (Thing is 85), but they also said he can tap into more power from Tanaraq allowing for his class 100 feats. He's like the Hulk with dynamic strength.
The comic from Infinity Crusade was meant for him to be a joke character. Doesn't match up with anyone from the past or what's going on currently so makes no sense.
