Shenron was weakened because he had granted a wish. If he attacked Shenron when he first summoned him, even after regaining his youth, Piccolo would have been shat on.

As I see it, there are two kinds of power in Dragon Ball. Ki and magic. Magic is what allows Piccolo to materialize clothes for Gohan and conjure things like an hourglass.

@ dadudemon: lol, the Tree of might was probably the most accurate power level. The shonen thing was retarded and untrue, and the Goten and Trunks thing didn't happen in the manga, and can be written off easily as PIS.

@ Astner: Actually, magic is things like what Babidi did. Some other characters like Devil man did things similar with magic, but the "clothes beam" was just advanced Namekian ki techniques, that really anyone can learn. At least that's what it said in the Daizenshuu.
