He only reverted because he wanted to right? What happens if peter allows himself to continue on in his higher form? I'm not saying that Rulk is on Superman's level, because he isn't and hasn't been for 3 or more years now, but he isn't a push over. Peter would have killed him if he fully allowed himself to remain in that monstrous state. I don't see how Superman would win this if he just sat there and banged out with him.
However if he fought him like he fought Doomsday Rex, and didn't allow himself to be hit he could stalemate I guess.

It's very simple, do you have a scan showing Wolverine having defeated Kuurth? It's a yes or no question. It's pretty clear that you don't or you would have posted it by now but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Still, getting tired of you constantly making claims without being able to support them.
That's a different way from how I'd describe it but the underlying fact is that Rulk even when written by Loeb didn't so much as scratch Colossus. As a matter of fact, did anyone other then Kuurth do anywhere near that kind of damage to Colossus? If not, that should tell you something.
The bottom line is that you have absolutely no basis for assuming Kuurth is just a regular Class 100 when his only feat is absolutely devastating Colossus Juggernaut in a matter that even Trans level characters would be hard pressed to match. Oh yeah, I forget, he was also shown being cut by an Odin amped Wolverine. 😬

The entire Marvel Hell Lord community was terrified of the Serpent IIRC and the Fear Crown (Forged from the small portion of the Serpent's Power) would have granted Mephisto enough might take over the seat of hell (And he'd continue growing). Mephisto even admitted it would be suicide to face the Serpent in open combat and that the Destroyer would get slagged against him.
Thor and Odin beating him like they did is pretty goddamn ridiculous.

For some context, pretty much every demonic entity in Marvel continuity is considered a Hell Lord in some form of another and as Mephisto pointed out, none of them would allow someone to take the throne:
