It doesn't. Prime would punch as fast and hard as he was able to with or without super speed.

So you feel Odin amping is ok but Prime using speed is not? I feel like it should be consistant. Either both could use powers or neither can

The precursor to what Stoic said is irrelevant, unless you stated that Prime doesn't have superspeed, which you didn't. In fact, you stated "Combos", which would hint at superspeed from a superfast character. But then Stoic outright questioned superspeed being used since he felt it was exotic (and also him likely thinking that "combos" meant blitz), and then you said that Prime would punch as fast as he can, and this was without the notion that superspeed would be turned off, which was later explain in the theoretical situation. The whole series of events basically stated that you think Prime would use superspeed, which is why I questioned it.

Lol no i mean he would punch as fast as he possibly could punch without using super speed. Like say the fastest he could ever punch without using the speed is X and with the speed it's Y. He'd be punching at X

Odin will punch with the speed level of a man his age, size, and weight who engages in moderate exercise.

But with, like, super duper strength behind each punch. So after punching, they will press their fists into the opponent and shout kiyaaa!

This has turned into one of the most backward fist fight I have seen on the forum. So now super speed is out the window to since it helps an argument about Odin not being able to amp. Wow.

Why would speed be removed from a slugfest?

I view speed as being non-exotic. The same way that the all-Father can draw upon his subjects at will.

You have no idea what it is that you are talking about concerning Odin, nor do you realize just how powerful he is. If you did, you would know that even with the Guardian amplification that Prime gets in this thread, that it would only serve to delay his inevitable defeat. Odin isn't just some High Herald-High Trans level character. He'd beat the amp out of Prime, and then break his neck.
