I know, this is one of my most beloved movies. But this group of badasses is dealing with fodder troops. I think they take it.

all those heavy machine guns mortars and artillery were aimed at thousands of people. thats the only reason so many made it through: numbers.
but you dropped 15 men in the middle of it...alone. LOL
no no, im wrong. cinematic baddassery would have magically wiped out enough artillery to kill every single bayformer in a 1 minute barrage of brutal rape.
Barney Ross flies his plane over the enemy, firing an absurd amount of rounds with pinpoint accuracy, all the while dodging any and all incoming fire in a ridiculous manner until there are about 30 guys left that somehow manage to shoot off both wings causing the plane to plummet down while Barney uses his expert flying ability to aim the plane perfectly so it crashes into and kills all the survivors in a a firey hellstorm of death.
Barney then walks out of the flames completely unscathed and Lee Christmas cracks on him for bing a poor fighter.
