Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Meh. Rather they stay on AoS.

Great episode, I'm beginning to see a degree of consistency on MAOS now. Hopefully it lasts.

Post-DD, it doesn't feel as weighty as it once did, the production values and the characterisation, though all very good aren't that unusual now and the storyline isn't truly compelling.

Skye's become less of an irritant though, May's got a little character, Ward's getting to a turning point again and Hunter's definitely an improvement to the show.

Yah, the episode was pretty good. It needs to start getting to a point though. It's kina spinning it's tires right now.

So Joss Whedon said in an interview with IGN that Coulson's dead as far as the movies are concerned:

That suggests that even though the films are canon to the Tv series, that relationship might not work vice versa.

No, he just meant that the Avengers still consider Coulson dead

Honestly That's not what he said.

He said as far as the "Films" are concerned Coulson is dead. Not as far as the "Avengers" are concerned. Even saying his death was an important one for the movies.

Full Quote:

“It’s a weird little yes and no. As far as I’m concerned in the films, yes he’s dead. In terms of the narrative of these guys [The Avengers] his loss was very important. When I created the television show, it was sort of on the understanding that this can work and we can do it with integrity, but these Avengers movies are for people to see the Avengers movies and nothing else. And it would neither make sense nor be useful to say ‘Oh and by the way remember me? I died!’”

Also Kevin Feige's been asked about MAOS in the past and simply said he's got nothing to do with the Tv side.

In any case so far it seems to be MAOS follows the Movie timeline religiously, whilst the movies haven't once even acknowledged MAOS in any shape or form as far as I'm aware.

The season finale was the best output from this show, IMO. MAOS has come a long way and I'm glad I stuck with it.

Satisfying finale.

Some obvious predictions for season 3 :

Spoiler:

- Coulson will get some sort of tech arm.
- More Inhumans will pop up with the whole fish pills being distributed to the public.
- Ward will be one of the new heads of Hydra.
- May wants to get pounded by Dr. Smooth
- is Simmons dead ? Seems likely.

Actually, in AOU, Fury says that he gets the Hellicarrier out of some moth balls with the help of some old friends (Coulsen being one of them). It might not make sense to anyone who hasn't watched the show, but it is a direct reference to MAOS.

he also said he made more money on Dr. Horrible, I wouldn't take that guy seriously.

Great Finale, I wish they would have made Quake's father an agent instead and have him work with Billy.

So who do we guess is on the Secret Avengers list?

THIS

Wow. Just when I was getting annoyed with the show and characterizations of certain members; as well as all the backstabbing and disloyal people.... This episode delivered. Amazing. Everything from

Spoiler:
Raina's death, Cal becoming Mr. Hyde FINALLY, and then helping Coulson save his daughter, to Ward killing Agent 33 and becoming an even bigger threat.....
. There was so much in this episode that was good and I think not only was that the best episode of Shield in ages, it was the best single tv episode of anything I've seen in quite some time. Season 3 can't come soon enough now.

finally watched the season finale.. really wasn't impressed... ward still belongs to the pornstar school of acting... Ming-Na was decently good. Adrianne Palicki arguably the best thing about this season was reduced to nothingness except for a few scenes. the blind guy must have been told that DD is the only star of the MCU lol... One can only hope next season has some decent shows.
