The Borg Vs Skynet

The borg have fractured time in their last attempt to travel back in time to earth due to the enterprise having shot them at a crucial moment of opening a temporal warp. the Borg crash land in a possible future where skynet has taken over.

The surviving borg begin to scout the area looking for technology and humans to assimilate. they see a figure in the distance which turns to face them with its eyes glowing.

vs

who would win out of these cybernetic titans?

1. 10 borgs vs 10 t100

2. 10 borgs vs 10 t1000

standard future weapons for both cyborgs.

The T100 will just absorb the Borg and add them to the SkyMind.

Borg, easily.

The Borg way too easy

Le Borge.

Resistance is futile, motherf*cker.

Borg win first scenario easily but lose against the t-1000. I don't know if there is anything the borg could even do to the t-1000. The borg can't adapt to melee weapons.

Borg becoming liquid metal is a terrifying idea.

There is no way a Borg drone is taking a T-800 in a H2H fight. Borg have no ranged weaponry that I've seen. If a Borg drone can't assimilate Data before he stomps their ass then the same applies here. Now if this were a all-out war between Skynet and the Borg. Well, then, yeah, Borg take it easily. But a straight up fight. Come on.

Now, I know that is a T-850 but you get the point. No way a Borg drone is prepared to deal with something like that in a fight. They're mass canon fodder that will destroy you in numbers by overwhelming you. Similar to the walkers in The Walking Dead against humans. One Borg drone isn't going to be a problem for any T-800 or later model.

The nanobots would assimilate the T-1000, with ease.

Also, iirc, the Borg have assimilated shape-shifters.

Do combatants in this forum get basic general knowledge of their opponent? Or do they go into the fight unaware of the oppositions abilities?

That's Quanchi right there.

I'd say Borg Drones in both battles. Borg Tech (and Data, for that matter) is far more advanced than Skynet and the Terminators are, and the Terminators have a weakness to being remote accessed and controlled (shown in T3 when Arnold had his programming overwritten). The Borg should be able to destroy or assimilate the T-100s and T-1000s or simply remote overwrite their programming (which they have done to numerous alien spacecraft and tech in the Star Trek verse, as well as to Data in TNG [though in that case it was through using Data's emotion chip and their subspace transceiver]). The battle with the T-1000s will likely be a closer battle but the element of surprise the T-1000s usually enjoy via their shape-shifting against humans won't be afforded to them against the Borg due to their sensors and ocular implants. They'd be sized up pretty quickly as relatively inferior technology, and once one of the Borg witnesses the capabilities of a T-1000 the remainder of the group would know exactly what they were dealing with instantly via the hive mind. I also doubt a T-1000 could stand up to disruptor fire.

When have Borg drones used phasers or these "disruptors"? They always rely on assimilating which leads to H2H combat for them. The Borg may be smarter and technologically more advanced than Skynet. But that isn't going to matter when they're opponent is far stronger, faster, and more durable.

On TNG and Voyager. As a matter of fact, in the double episode where Lore has the Borg capture Data (Descent, TNG Season 6) the Borg engage in an assault on multiple Federation outposts and the Enterprise itself and Ryker remarked that they were fighting ruthlessly like Klingons. All Borg are outfitted with disruptors and adaptive shielding, as well as a myriad of other tech (like subspace transceivers and sensors). In order to assimilate organic life they get into close quarters and inject humanoids with their assimilation tubules/nanites. When doing this they usually just walk up on the lifeforms, allowing their adaptive shielding to protect them from incoming weapons fire as they get in close (or, if a drone gets dropped by an energy weapon, the next drone that comes will have adapted to the energy weapon that dropped it). That's not, however, their only option. T-1000s are great in close quarters combat, but that's not necessary as Borg have energy weapons as well as the ability to simply remote access the Terminators and either deactivate them or control them. Unless the battle stipulation is hand to hand only the Borg are going to win.
