Which characters are your favorites?

Billy The Kid offcource!

I liked Billy and Doc the most from both films. By the way our discussion is scheduled to be moved to the movie discussion section. 😎

Young Guns was a great movie. I've not seen II, though I'm not tempted. I don't see how there could be a second.

to show the last days of Billy

I don't have an opinion on young guns....b/c I haven't seen it

There was not supposed to be a sequel to the original Young Guns at the time of its debut in 1988. The actors were not under contract for a second film. What happened was somebody came up with a gimmick of doing another one based on the claims by Brushy Bill Roberts, an old man claiming to be the Kid. Estevez, Sutherland and Philips signed on after they read the script, which they all felt was even better than the first. The second is an awesome movie that does contradict several ideas established in the first, but remains a wonderful movie nonetheless. You should see it.

the first one is way better

I like the second a bit more.

well it is just a matter of taste so, dont geme wrong it was good but the forst was so refreshing when it came . It was awesome, wited the entire summer of 1990 for YG2 listening to the Bon Jovi song so maybe the expectations were a bit to high

All right back to the questions: From the original Young Guns- who do you like better- Charlie Bowdre or Dirty Steve? I choose Steve because of his great facial expressions whenever something goes wrong- like in the film's climax when the gang are trapped at the McSween house. What do you guys think?

Yeah Dirty Steve was the best out of the two I just got the tape of Young Guns I'm going too start watchin' this bad boy.

Yeah Steve was an allright dude! He and Chavez seldom got along but that was taken care of by the film's end. Shame about Dick Brewer though. Watch the film and you will see what I mean..........

dint like Doc too mcuh tho, he did not have the real guts to be a good companion..!

doc is fictional

Doc was the conscience of the gang. After Dick Brewer got cut down, the gang should have followed him, but Billy was more aggressive in excercising leadership over them.

We are talking within the confines of the films, finti. And there was a real Josiah G. Scurlock. It's a matter of record. We have discussed this already. 😎
