Darth Baras vs Obi-Wan Kenobi

hmm, i'd say Baras. He's shown himself as a specialist in lightsaber combat, is no slouch with force lightning, and gave the Emperor's Wrath a good fight.

Obi-Wan. Is there anything that puts Baras above Kenobi?

Is there anything to put Kenobi above Baras? Actually, I'd give Kenobi the saber fight because we don't really know Baras' capabilities in that department, but Baras wrecks Kenobi with the force.

Baras is too much of an unknown in saber combat. We know nothing other than he gave a good a fight to the EW in ToR.

He's much more prominent with the Force than Obi, though.

Apparently Baras had 2 duels with Satele Shan, the first being very brief, and the second being quite a bit longer. They stalemated in both of these duels, which is impressive to an extent. Still doesn't beat Obi-Wan stalemating Maul multiple times though. But Baras still holds an advantage with his force abilities.

Obi-wan can block lightning pretty well with his saber, stopped Dooku's.

He doesn't. But the lightning Obi-Wan blocked was when Dooku wasn't even trying. When he does try, it has been shown to be much stronger. Baras's lightning has easily subdued a powerful sith lord (darth Angral) and gave the wrath a tough time.
