Darth Malgus runs a New Jedi order gauntlet

Darth Malgus runs a NJO gauntlet - he gets rest time after every fight who matches him? Where does he stop?

1. Ganner Rhysode
2. Corran Horn
3. Mara Jade
4. Kyle Katarn
5. Jacen Solo
6. Kam Solusar (prime)
7. Jaden Korr
8. Kyp Durron
9. Cade Skywalker
10. Luke Skywalker

He makes it to Luke imo. I'd say perhaps Durron could stop him if Durron had actually done more in combat.

Cade's a pretty big unknown but the guy was apparently more than capable of holding sith off in a saber duel after not touching one for 7 years.

Cade has an incredible feat in tanking an imperial base exploding, but at the end of the day Malgus is a combat monster imo and would beat him despite that.

Interesting, Malgus though a tank, did show a weakness to guileful fighters and fighters that can employ force powers with aplomb. Also don't forget guys like Katarn fight like Freedon Nadd and employ blasters and tech in fights.

Doubt he's beating Jacen.

I'd put him equal to Caedus let alone Jacen.

1. Ganner Rhysode is in his '50 at a time' form - still a challenge. Corran Horn - I can block lightsabers with my bare hands - a challenge. Mara Jade - Palps assassin skills, a challenge.
Kyle Katarn - Imperial agent turned Jedi - Freedon Nadd type as a fighter when he's not putting his kid gloves on - this is a dark forces Jedi, they're hardcore.
Jacen Solo - unifying force mindset, not the broken mess we got after.
Kam Solusar (prime) - back when he was an adventurer post Emperor Elite.
Jaden Korr - jedi kid prodigy mindset, not the doubtful older man of legacy era.
Kyp Durron - moving Vong vessels in space form
Cade Skywalker - just needs to be his usual self
Luke Skywalker - emerald lightning form not the off kilter version of the 2nd civil war.

So with that, it looks a bit more of a challenge.

Should he have like, beaten Krayt right at the start or something?

Malgus will reach Luke.

Considering he's the most powerful of the most powerful, he should have.

Writers forgot he existed, pretty much. A lot of them are quite literally not big time video game aficionados or are too busy. Obviously if you're realistic, a lot would have gone wrong for Krayt and his bloody minded Sith would've been stopped by the NJO well before they started the new jedi progom.

But is he really in Legacy?

Yeah, he's some kind of explorer looking for the celestials with Jaina out in parts unknown.

If you mean the comics, not there. Since the comics are all about mad Krayt and his mad Sith ambitions.

Jaden beats Ragnos. Ragnos scared Luke. Therefore, Jaden solos.

There's 'Legacy of the Force,' (the novels, Caedus's time) and then there's 'Legacy' (the comics, Cade's time).

He's from the former, well before the One Sith step out into the open.

Obviously if you're realistic, a lot would have gone wrong for Krayt and his bloody minded Sith would've been stopped by the NJO well before they started the new jedi progom.

Krayt's sith were quite good at subtlety- they operated in secret until 130ABY.

Also at the time both Jaden and Krayt were alive, Krayt would not be as debilitated by the growths as he'd be in the last year or so pre-death and resurrection, so he'd probably beat Jaden fine anyway.

"Sidious describes Malgus in the Book of Sith as 'an exemplary warrior. His battlefield feats have never been equalled.'

In The Third Lesson while still mortally wounded by Satale Shan in the Hope trailer Malgus fights two Jedi. One of the Jedi collapses two large duracrete buildings on top of Malgus, who holds up the rubble before blasting it away. He engages the Jedi in lightsaber combat before sensing the second whom he kills easily by snapping his neck with the Force. Then the Jedi who collapsed the buildings on him charges, but Malgus blows through his lightsaber defense with his lightning, burning holes in his body with it before executing him.

In Deception Malgus kills 3 Jedi at once with a single burst of lightning. His Force Scream shatters a huge collumn. His Force Push kills a Jedi by blasting her across the temple and is described as powerful enough to splinter bone. He lifted 2 pieces of statuary and smashed them into each other hard enough to shatter them into a shower of stone. He's leaped to the ground from 50 meters up while creating a cocoon of power strong enough so that when he landed he shattered the stone and turned it into a hail of shrapnel. He's incredibly strong, at one point kicking Lord Adraas so hard he flies across a room and cracks a stone column in half and being described as stronger than Aryn Leneer, who herself was able to fling Malgus the length of an F-22 (20 meters). At the end of the novel he completely embraces the Dark Side and gains a massive boost of power making him beyond all the feats I just mentioned.

Finally in TOR Malgus fights either the Strike Team made up of the Republic or Empire players. Despite fighting such opponents as the Hero of Tython + Barsen'thor/Darth Nox + Emperor's Wrath he is able to bring them to their knees with a gout of lightning and toss them around in TK. "
