Has anyone been watching this insanely crazy show? Clothes that feed on blood, a sword that is half a scissor, and a cast of characters that are just insane.

Is it good? Saw it last night and was tempted to watch.

I really enjoy it, its got a very Gurren Lagann thing going on, because its made by the same person. But it even more out there, and more pervy. No giant robots though.

I watched this. Very entertaining imo and I really appreciated the theme of not being embarrassed to expose yourself etc.

I really liked Gurren Lagann.

One thing I don't like is how hyperactive and wacky everything is. I've never been a fan of that over the top comedy bullshit.

Mako and her family are particularly grating imo. Theres no sense of comic timing in those gags, just constant, shrill, spastic screaming. Its like a comedian jumping around on stage yelling "LAUGH AT ME! LAUGH AT ME! I'M SOOO CRAZY!" Also most of the fanservice isn't funny either. Just dumb nosebleeds and cliche anime overreacting. I hate animes that do that. I guess they might be satirizing those things, but they're still played straight enough so far to be annoying.

That said the show is still good.

But it is growing on me. It is like a 13 year old on a LCD trip.

Anyone else feel like Ryuko and Satsuki teaming up is inevitable at this point? Satsuki obviously wants something from her, why else would she save her from Nui (and cover her in a blanket)? She seems to be stringing Ryuko along, but I can't quite see the endgoal beyond maybe taking out her mom.

I just think Nui coming in to stop Ryuko was more of a you can't do it so I will thing against Satsuki. That's why Satsuki stopped Nui. And covered her up. I don't think Satsuki sees Ryuko as a real threat either.

So uh, that just happened.

I disagree that Satsuki doesn't rate Ryuko highly. Remember this line:

Satsuki's the best. All heil!

Well, I think we all saw that coming... But it was glorious nonetheless.

Satsuki's one of my favorite characters already. I can't wait til next week.
