Dope movie. Saw it last week. One of the stronger films this year.

Excellent flick, great performance by Tom Hank's. Probably would have done better or got more buzz if it wasn't released the following weekend to gravity

wanna see this

let me guess people were expecting this to be a Superhero movie.

Is this the sequel to Castaway?

This does look good, and Tom Hanks is always great. Probably won't spend money on it in the theater, though.

If Tom Hanks doesn't win an Oscar... smh

.

Ya think?

Good film. Does a respectable job showing the pirates as men rather than monsters and like all of Paul Greengrass' best films, makes you feel the immediacy of the situation.

Tom Hanks is very good in it and in any other year would probably deserve the best actor oscar, but this year Chiwetel Ejiofor simply overshadows him for his extraordinary work in 12 Years a Slave.

Well according to the people involved Cpt. Phillips was a bit of a dick, he knew about the pirates and risk but carried on despite warnings
