Wait a minute, that isn't canon and yet you have absolutely no problem bringing up non canon showings of Darkseid to try and lowball him and humiliate him(double standards much)? He wasn't toying with the heroes(he wanted to prove himself on the battlefield for Mistress Death and Thor and several others were legitimately putting him on his ass).

Didn't Darkseid nearly melt the Surfer with one blast? I'm really trying to imagine the Surfer taking this. Sure I think he'd put up a decent fight, but in the end, i think Darkseid should and would take this.Now even if the confrontation was non canon, the depiction was pretty clear. Darkseid was above Surfer.

That was a crossover in which he Cheapshotted the Surfer. He was not nearly melted by any stretch of the imagination.
