We get it, You're not a fan of his Deadpool movie.

It's not so much that. It's just boredom with another Terminator film. Reboot, sequel, doesn't matter.

Not if they can freshen it up.

James Cameron in early talks with Tim Miller to reboot The Terminator

Awesome 👆

The New York Daily News reports that both that a Terminator 6—presumably, a hypothetical followup to Terminator: Genisys—has been scrapped for good. Also, in a future where the Terminator franchise would continue beyond this, original star Arnold Schwarzenegger would not be back. This isn’t too surprising to hear, of course—we’d already heard that Genisys star Emilia Clarke would not return for future movies, and Paramount actually already pulled the sequel to the film off schedules last year.

But interestingly, this report doesn’t make mention of the recent rumors that James Cameron and Deadpool director Tim Miller plan to sweep in and save the franchise from doom with a film that is allegedly a “reboot and conclusion” to the series, somehow. It does, however, mention that there’s still hope an “independent company” could come to Paramount and revive the series, so maybe the future isn’t quite as grim for Terminator as it currently sounds.

Interesting. Well, I'm pretty indifferent to whatever they decide to do with this series.

If they continue it definitely needs a reboot (which they seem to do with every sequel post T2 anyway).

But yeah Cameron needs to be involved. And no more Arny.

I just want Arny to focus on doing King Conan.

So Arnold Schwarzenegger. Is Now A T-1000?

At least until the reboot (aka the next film).

After the lackluster of Genisys, I'm glad they're not doing a follow-up to that.

Also glad Arnold is out, he's the iconic Terminator and will always be, but he's beyond the role, time for someone else.

But having said that, not sure how they're going to proceed with a reboot, another recap of the first film? Not sure I want that and Terminator is my fav of the series. A film set in the future where machines rule most of the planet? We had that in Salvation.

A good movie. but the first three parts of Terminator were simply amazing

James Cameron aims to reinvent the Terminator franchise with a trilogy

So I am in discussions with David Ellison, who is the current rights holder globally for the Terminator franchise and the rights in the US market revert to me under US copyright law in a year and a half so he and I are talking about what we can do
