Doom controlled that power fine when Klaw (1% of the Beyonders power) wasnt emotionally proding and poking him, filling him with doubt and concern (which wouldnt be an issue here at all). Besides, with that kind of power, he wouldnt need to control it very long before he erases LT from existence (a few seconds should do it).

Klaw (Beyonder) was actively trying to get Doom to screw up.
The Doom is secret wars was incomplete(missing part of his soul iirc) and thus inferior to the Doom in this thread.
^^ 616 Doom's entire (not part) soul and mind were on Earth-616 in Norman McArthur's body while the entire SWI event played out,
and even still through most of SWII as well. It was near the end of SWII that 616 Doom saw & met the Beyonder for the first time ever.
Also,
the Doom with Beyonder's power was losing control almost from the very start,
but it still took some time to lose significant control.
That said, this Doom, that Doom, either one stomps before losing control.
