Thor vs Sebastian Shaw in pure slugfest

Thor (no Mjolnir or energy attacks)

vs

Sebastian Shaw

Shaw

Slugfest generally means no powers except strength and durability, which means Shaw's ability to absorb energy is turned off...thus Thor wins.

no, slugfest means its a physical battle and there are no ranged attacks

shaw cannot turn off his power, therefore he has it for this fight

stop weasling for a thor victory

Whatever you say, in that case since Thor knows about Shaw's powers he just stands there and waits for Shaw to tire himself out.

n. Slang
1. A fight marked by an extended exchange of heavy blows.

What is Shaw's limit?

So, Shaw is allowed to absorb the energy, but not use it?
him using it is considered passive dood...stop trying to handicap shaw

I edited my post, I thought he had to actively use it in order to amp, but I was corrected on that and also told that Shaw has been overloaded at least twice...so what is his limit?

no idea

who corrected you?

Guy from another site, I haven't kept up with a lot of X-villains, so I wanted to be sure.

Shaw

Thor only chance is choking out Shaw

Or simply waiting it out and letting Shaw exhaust himself.

If they trade punch for punch then Shaw would win eventually. If he absorbs several punches, hoping to amp up to a level allowing for a one punch k.o then he'd probably get overloaded and pass out. It's Shaw's fight to lose.

Thor chokes him out... Storm overloaded him with a lightning bolt.
