Superman was like the key to the DC Multiverse. Even at the beginning, during the big bang, the Sword of Superman was created to herald his coming. Superman is the most important being in the DC U, right after Batman uhuh, he is so far above the likes of Tyrant it's not even funny. His powers fluctuate and are on average, beyond Tyrant, speed, strength, invulnerability. Tyrant wouldn't be able to even hurt Supes in some stories.
