Marvel Death is a cosmic, balanced by others, and with plans that sometimes succeed and sometimes fail.
Endless Death just is. She's death, good and bad. She doesn't set out to cause more death, or anything. Death'll be the one there to turn the lights out when the last thing dies, and that's all there is to it.
The Endless, or at least the top Endless, stand above most cosmics.

This tidbit affects this fight how? 😕
Or more seriously, Endless Death operates on a larger scale. She's directly involved in both life and death, of individual people, and the entire DCU... Of not just one universe, but all of them. She even operated in Lucifer's multiverse, and that's outside of the Presences creation..

Death is the one who claims destiny of the endless and everything else as seen in Books of Magic v1 #4:

.....while Destiny himself watches all the universeS (History of the DC universe #1):

and as you said: she has a job to do in Lucifer's creation (which is completely separated from the normal multiverse), 2008 bio:

On panel, Death claims Elaine while she was in Lucifer's creation, in Lucifer #26:

This proves that Death's influence extends beyond 1 multiverse and into others if there are any (like Lucifer's).
She is also established to be more powerful than Dream who can casually create/destroy billions of universes.
That said, i do believe Death of the endless is intended to be more powerful than Mistress Death.

👆 Nice scans. Death of the Endless is quite powerful.

And yet, only one of them has died. Curious, that.
Once her avatar was reintroduced into that universe, she returned and insta-wiped that entire universe, crippled the Old Ones, and destroyed the GE and all their troops in another universe (616).
Vertigo's Death is all talk and no action.
EDIT -
You can't be referencing PR Beyonder wiping Death from existence as some kind of low showing for Death. He'd do the same to any of the Endless with the same ease.
