You know what's not implied? Thanos' fights against Skyfather and above level beings : Odin, Tyrant, Maker, Galactus, Walker, Omega. He took brutal punishment and kept on going. Only Galactus, Tyrant and Omega made him tap out.
He's killed high heralds with punches, tanked planets igniting into suns, destroyed a planet in his fight with Drax (Drax was KOed, Thanos was just fine). He's gone up against teams of superhumans and made them cry uncle.
All this without any kind of temporary amps whatsoever.

Thanos. He gutted his own mother, kills people for the jiggles, annihilated his own planet and for every bad showing he has a Thanosi standing around and being ready to take the blame.

Thanos. No matter what kind of rules there are. Thanos every time. To me Thanos has been portrayed more frequently as a teambuster and even went so far to take out high heralds rather easily (major PIS, but oh well). I've seen Darkseid struggeling with Superman quite often.
And Thanos would absolutely murder Superdudebro, no matter how much Raj wants to deny it.
