There are a lot of great things written in books, not necessarily all of them true. There's a great book about a soldier in World War II who is transported between his present time in Germany and outer space. It's very original and very entertaining. I do not, however, hold this particular person up as having some kookie ghostly powers. Of course he wasn't the son of a supreme being supposedly sent to earth to save humanity. But then, Jesus wasn't the first of these either in the grand history of all earthly religions.

Religion in the past was the comic book heroes of their time. This was a problem that Buddha had to over come.
