Why does all literature place Sidious as strongest sith lord?

I think it's because the hierarchy was established that way for Palpatine to be basically the pinnacle of Dark Side power, besides the Celestials and sh!t like that. He is meant to be the greatest villain in Star Wars, after all.

I think that placing Nihilus above him is fair

1. Nihilus is canonically a Sith.
2. Palpatine has better feats.

GG

Nihilus and Valkorion are canonically Sith. This is not arguable.

Agreed. There do appear to be a couple of (slightly) stronger Sith later, though (like Sarasu Taalon and Exar Kun while possessing Kyp Durron).

Exar Kun while possessing Kyp isn't stronger than Palpatine.

Because why not? Someone has to.

Nihilus seems only to be a Sith because he was dubbed one by Traya. He doesn't care for Sith philosophy nor the propagation of the order. I don't really count him as one tbh.

He doesn't.

Valkorion isn't.

He is called a Sith entity.

And by objective Out-of-Universe source.

He does. What feats of N. are better?

Yes. Likely as a way for Bioware developers to keep Valkorian's story hidden or as a reference to his former self as Vitiate. There's no other reason to consider him one.

If they only refer to him as one because of Traya dubbing him as one then I would consider them particularly valid.

Draining entire worlds instantly. Holding together ships accelerating into hyperspace, etc.

I still feel like making Vitiate= Valk to be kind of pointless, felt like they could have just made him a separate guy and nothing major would have really changed.

Because he is...?

Wrong: certain users are free to entirely disregard sources and statements they disagree with, no matter how often they're affirmed.

It is a means of severing the connections between arguments, logic, and feeding upon the salt it causes. It is an old technique and cannot be taught... it can only be gained by instinct, through experiencing its effects first hand.

It is a power against which there is no defense. ✅

It is a delicate procedure that saps the brain cells of another user and funnels it into internet obscurity. It is extremely easy to employ in direct debating whenever you wish to reach for high heavens and deny evidence.

Sounds like a nexus. 🙂

Sounds like Syn and Neph.
