older scary movie with red eyes

I can't remember the name or any actors in it at all. I just remember we had it on VHS back in the 80's-early 90's. There was a group of people out at a house in the woods. Some creature that was never shown on screen. I just remember the red eyes under the doors and out by the trees.

I don't know the title myself...but was there a scene where a woman runs out of a house & inside, between the curtains, you see a pair of eyes watching her?

This might not be it, but could it be "the Evil Dead" 1 or 2?

I don't think there were "red eyes" in the woods in any Evil Dead films.
