Had one of the higher bases out of most Hulk incarnations. Even when calm and casual his strength was practically on par with Thor/Superman level beings depending on who he was fighting. When he got pushed, he very often outperformed Savage Hulk's performance against similar enemies.

Later on in the run, Merged Hulk had a mental block that caused him to revert to Banner if he got angry or reached a certain level of strength. But even still he was more or less on par with Thor/Superman in their respective fights. Like I said, one of the higher bases and the ability to increase his strength dramatically. Arguing that he could surpass Herald level strength would hardly be blasphemy.

Fyi, Maestro wins. He owned Merged Hulk just like Ultraman owned Adam. Except Merged Hulk strength is far more solidified then Adam. Throw in his dynamic strength, and I'm not sure why he wouldn't win? Ultraman broke Adam's jaw. Maestro broke Hulk's neck IIRC.

That's without taking into account the fact that Ultraman is running on a clock. After his fight with Adam, he overexerted himself and needed more Kryptonite. Worst case scenario, Maestro would just outlast him; although that wouldn't be necessary with his strength.

Ben is on superman level as well? 😆

I don't think Ultraman "Needed' more Kryptonite per se. What I think is more likely is that he panicked when he saw his blood and went for a hit as a boost.

It was a nice homage to Earth 2 Superman's moment of shock at seeing his own blood while fighting the Anti-Monitor in CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS.

Ben would armwrestle God into a stalemate. His arm wrestling abilities directly scale with the dude he's wrasslin.

Otherwise we're of the assumption that he's as strong as Prof Hulk.

He was just barely beaten by an all-out Superman who used more then just his physical strength:

As a matter of fact, even a good deal after their fight in the next issue, Superman comments that his jaw is still aching from his fight with Hulk:

This btw is the Merged Hulk who had the Banner limitation and could not get stronger past a certain level. So yes, saying that he's on the level of Thor/Superman is very accurate.

I don't understand, what part of "depending on who he was fighting" was unclear? Not that it matters. Fyi, Ben had a really high end portrayal in that scene.

Marvel vs DC was awful writing and fan voted, if you count that i could bring JLA/avengers when supes beat thor, even with his magic weakness, also JLA/avengers it's canon, marvel vs dc not.

You don't have to acknowledge any of the crossovers, I just thought it was relevant information as you questioned Hulk being on Superman's level. He has other fights against villains where he outperforms Savage Hulk very specifically in order to establish his ridiculous level of strength.

Busiek was in minority who did not acknowledge Superman's magical vulnerability as it is most often portrayed. Superman won, just barely against Thor, in a very close fight. If his magic weakness was in play, I don't think it would have gone well for him.

Fyi, there's a lot more evidence establishing DC vs. Marvel as canon for both companies then there is JLA/Avengers.

Hmmmm, this is a good match up really, as I do believe Maestro to be one of the most powerful forms of the Hulk ever, the guy had Caps shield pushed halfway thru his core, and knocked away Merged Hulk that was doing the pushing, and continued the fight, thats one heck of a stamina/durability feat.

Yeah, Superman barely beat Professor Hulk under fan votes. The Maestro rapes here.
