Has anyone ever commited suicide in the SW universe?

Has any person ever killed themselves in the entirety of the Movies, EU, and Series? I have no idea why, but I wanna know.

Yes. In SW Legacy, there was Dru Valan, an admiral who shot himself after failing to capture Gar Stazi and lose the most powerful prototype Star Destroyer in the galaxy in the same battle.

Darth Sion was talked into dying.

Probably some more. There's also a couple times when someone doesn't pull the trigger themselves, but choses to die (like Celeste Morne).

Another example;

In "Death Troopers" at least two inmates killed themselves rather than die from a plague they were infected with.

Vul Isen attempted to in order to escape Cade and release his bioweapon.

Malak committed suicide when he saw Revan on the Star Forge and said "let's do this, bro".

Also, pretty sure Greedo will have shot himself by the next SW revision, thanks to GL and Disney.

I'm not sure if 'Suicide by Jedi' qualifies ^^

"I AM JEDI AND SITH, BITCHES".

-- Revan, aboard the Foundry, TOR.

...And that's why Revan is a bad-ass.

LOL JarJar's father committed suicide and avoided raising him.

I'm sorry this shit was hilarious. Just look at his hairdo.

"A month later, Binks and his family were still stranded on the island, which he christened "Binks's Woe." He grew increasingly annoyed by his son's antics, so that when Jar Jar offered to swim for help—a suicidal task due to the treacherous seas as well the distance involved—Binks encouraged the boy. However, this attempt at getting Jar Jar killed was cut short when his wife intervened. Overcome with feelings, he drew a gun and shot himself in the head. The shot merely grazed his skull, knocking him unconscious. When he awoke a short while later, he lowered his head in sadness."

Holy shit, thats hilarious. 😮

Is this marketed towards children?

"Remember, if your child is annoying, make him swim. And if his mother says no, SHOOT YOURSELF."

Yeah, but I always found Jar Jar adorable. Annoying, but adorable.

HOLY SHIT, THAT IS HILARIOUS!!!!!!

A whole lot just made sense.

That's why he's secretly code named 'Darth Binks' Comedy gold right thearr!

The Father of the ones also killed himself to weaken his son.
I don't think anyone committed suicide because they were depressed though.

I would like to see a Darth Depression character.
